Timberwolves Bring Back Cardinal

As expected, the Minnesota Timberwolves re-signed forward Brian Cardinal Tuesday, according to Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune. The news is confirmed by Jonah Ballow of Timberwolves.com. With the playoff picture a virtual impossibility, the Timberwolves are bringing back Cardinal for the season’s final three weeks. Ballow reports Cardinal is already dressed for Tuesday’s practice.

Timberwolves Waive Tucker; Return of Cardinal?
