Minnesota Vikings’ third-round pick cornerback Asher Allen agreed to a contract Thursday, according to the Vikings’ website. Allen is expected to battle for the nickel back position as well as on special teams.
Terms of his deal were not immediately known.
Chip Scoggins (Star Tribune) says the former Georgia star suffered a knee injury in off-season workouts but is expected to be ready for training camp.
The Vikings now have first-round pick receiver Percy Harvin and second-round pick offensive tackle Phil Loadholt left to sign.
