Twins insistent on Storen, Lombardozzi, Bernadina from Nationals for Span

The Twins and Nationals trade talk just got a little more interesting.

Minnesota is now insisting on reliever Drew Storen—NOT reliever Tyler Clippard— along with outfielder Roger Bernadina and infield prospect Stephen Lombardozzi from Washington in exchange for Span, according to Jim Bowden of ESPN.com.

The two new mentions since the previous reports are Bernadina and Lombardozzi.

Lombardozzi, 22, is considered a top prospect in the Nationals’ organization. He hits well, has leadoff hitter ability and can play shortstop and second base.

Bernadina, 27, is somewhat a head scratcher. He is a speedster, but his bat and defense is questionable. He is likely just a throw-in player.

Lombardozzi’s father, Steve Lombardozzi, spent time with the Twins from 1985 to 1988.

What do you guy think?
