Twins make roster moves

After Friday night’s fiasco when the Minnesota twins used up their bullpen and two starters to finish their game against the Detroit Tigers, help is on the way from AAA Rochester.

The Twins called up pitchers Rob Delaney and Alex Burnett. The team also selected the contract of pitcher Matt Fox, who will pitch Friday.

To clear space on the 40-man roster for Fox, the Twins placed first baseman Justin Morneau of the 60-day disabled list. Morneau has been out for 55 consecutive games, meaning he will be available to returnfrom the DL in five days.

Again, just so you are clear, Morneau is NOT out for the season.
