Updates regarding Vikings’ preseason game Saturday

Let me first say that Judd Zulgad of the Star Tribune is a great beat writer.

Childress is hoping Harvin can play Saturday night but isn’t sure he will.

It’s pretty clear rookie CB Chris Cook’s star is rising. He is in the competition for the starting job at right corner.

Tyrell Johnson said he expects to start Saturday at strong safety. He is competing with Sanford for the job.

I remember blogging yesterday on reports that Harvin suited up and practiced. Interesting that we find out he didn’t even practice yesterday……
