Two injuries happened on Saturday against the Seattle Mariners.
Minnesota Twins second baseman Orlando Hudson left in the top of the first inning with a sprained right ankle sustained while leading off from first base. He is listed as day to day.
Designated hitter Jim Thome left after one at-bat with lower back stiffness. Thome said after the game that he has experienced the stiffness before and should be okay to go in a few days. He too is listed as day to day.
Update: And of course, Hudson jumped right back into the lineup and played against the Mariners on Sunday.
Both injuries appear to not be serious at all.
