Hudson Back From DL; Slama Optioned
In case you missed it, second baseman Orlando Hudson was activated from the disabled list.
Right-hander Anthony Slama was optioned to Triple-A Rochester to make room for Casilla on the active roster.
Hudson’s arrival could not come at a better time since infielder Alexi Casilla will be out for a few games after spraining his right ankle on Saturday against the Cleveland Indians. Casilla has been playing second base in Hudson’s absence.
