As Morosi reported earlier, the Twins seem more confident about adding a reliever than starter. Capps is certainly a solid reliever who can help or replace current closer Jon Rauch.
Capps currently has a 2.74 ERA with 26 saves in 30 opportunities. His salary is $3.5 million this season.
