Jefferson Traded to Jazz For Two Future First-Rounders; Ridnour Signing Next

The Minnesota Timberwolves announced they have officially traded power forward/center Al Jefferson to the Utah Jazz for two future first-round picks.

The Timberwolves have agreed to a four-year $16 million deal with veteran free-agent point guard Luke Ridnour, according to multiple sources.  Point guard Ramon Sessions is now likely on the trade block as a salary dump.

According to sources, team president David Kahn wants to add a veteran presence to the team.  Ridnour, 29, is four years older than the Timberwolves’ oldest player, center Ryan Hollins.
