Vikings, Raiders Discuss Rosenfels Trade?

The Minnesota Vikings and Oakland Raiders are discussing the availability of quarterback Sage Rosenfels, according to Michael Lombardi of the National Football Post.

Judd Zulgad of the Star Tribune pointed out this report in his blog.

According to Lombardi, a team executive said trading Rosenfels would only happen if the Vikings know for certain that Brett Favre is coming back.  If this is the case, by the time Rosenfels becomes available, the Raiders may no longer be interested.

The Raiders are reportedly strongly in pursuit for Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback Donovan McNabb.  To complicate things, McNabb reportedly prefers to play for the Vikings if he doesn’t stay with the Eagles.  But sometimes money becomes the deciding factor.

A note that Zulgad made in his blog:  “There have been no indications the Vikings and Eagles have talked about McNabb.”
