The Philadelphia Eagles appear to be shopping around quarterback Donovan McNabb, but it appears the Minnesota Vikings are not in the mix for his services.
Judd Zulgad of the Star Tribune reports an NFL source at the owners meetings said McNabb would be traded but the Vikings were not in the mix.
Some would speculate the Vikings’ lack of interest could simply be because everyone in the organization believes quarterback Brett Favre will return next season, or because the Vikings just aren’t interested. Seeing as how McNabb played for Vikings’ coach Brad Childress back when he was the offensive coordinator for the Eagles for all those years, it would be odd for Childress not to have interest in McNabb if he were made available.
Of course…assuming they didn’t feel Favre will be coming back.
