Twins, Mauer Agree To Eight-Year Deal
The Minnesota Twins and catcher Joe Mauer agreed on a eight-year $184 million deal, according to multiple sources.
Mauer’s agent, Ron Shapiro, was in Fort Myers Sunday to finish the deal with Twins’ officials.
The deal includes a full no-trade clause.
The team will hold a press conference on Monday to announce the deal.
