Timberwolves Waive Tucker; Return of Cardinal?

The Minnesota Timberwolves waived forward Alando Tucker Monday, according to Jonah Ballow of Timberwolves.com.

Tucker only appeared in only 4 games for the Timberwolves and averaged 2 points per game.

Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune expects the Timberwolves to soon re-sign forward Brian Cardinal.  Cardinal was traded to New York Knicks to acquire center Darko Milicic, but was immediately released .

Team president David Kahn said last month to Wolves’ radio Voice Alan Horton that he would welcome back power forward Brian Cardinal if no team picked him up in the next 30 days following his release from the New York Knicks.
