Padres Want Revere & Hicks For Bell?

One of the Internet buzz candidates for replacing closer Joe Nathan who is having season-ending surgery is the possibility of trading for San Diego Padres’ closer Heath Bell.

Patrick Reusse of AM 1500 mentioned a rumor that the Padres would ask for both hot prospects, outfielder’s Ben Revere and Aaron Hicks, in a trade for Bell.

I’m not sure the Twins would be willing to give up even one of those guys in exchange for the 32-year-old closer.  If the rumor is true, we can scratch Bell off the list of potential replacements for Nathan.
