Minnesota Twins’ pitcher Joe Nathan will undergo Tommy John surgery as soon as possible, the pitcher told various media reporters.
Nathan tested out his arm Sunday morning before making his final decision.
Tommy John surgery has a 12-month long recovery time, so the team is hoping his can make it back for all of next season.
Update: The Pioneer Press reports Dr. David Altchek is performing Nathan’s Tommy John Friday in New York.
