Minnesota Vikings’ left tackle Bryant McKinnie posted on Twitter that he has plantar fasciitis in both of his feet.
The diagnosis would explain the pain he felt in his feet, and why he felt he could not participate in the Pro Bowl game.
In one of his tweets, McKinnie said: “I have 2 get my feet taped for 3 days, do calf stretches, take this medicine 4 a week and hopefully it will be gone.”
Minnesota Sports Zone’s Take:
From what I know about plantar fasciitis (which may be less than I think), it is extremely unbarring and painful. If he indeed played through plantar fasciitis in both his feet, he’s a soldier.
