Belanger Traded To Washington For Second-Round Pick, Earl Called Up
The Minnesota Wild traded center Eric Belanger to the Washington Capitals for a second-round pick Wednesday.
Belanger was pulled off the ice during practice once the deal was made official.
Left wing Robbie Earl has been called up from the Houston Aeros and likely replaces Belanger on the roster.
