Winfield Added To Pro Bowl Roster, 10 Vikings Total

Despite missing six regular season games, the NFL has announced Minnesota Vikings’ cornerback Antoine Winfield has been added to the NFC Pro Bowl roster, his second year as a Pro Bowler.

Even though Winfield missed a lot of the season due to injury, he is still tied for the team lead with 9 passes defensed and recorded 58 tackles in the 10 games he played.  Winfield is still working his way back into a regular in the lineup being not fully recovered from his foot injury.

In fact, Winfield may not be 100% until the offseason.  There is a strong possibility that Winfield would opt to not participate in the Pro Bowl in order to further heal his foot.

Hopefully, he won’t have to make that decision because the whole Vikings’ team is instead preparing the for the Super Bowl in Miami.
