Wild Place Sykora, Earl On Waivers

Michael Russo (Star Tribune) reports the Minnesota Wild placed forward’s Petr Sykora and Robbie Earl on waivers today.

According to NHL rules, both have 24 hours to clear and could be assigned to AHL Houston Aeros.  Russo is uncertain ehther Sykora would report, but he mentioned that the Wild could also call Sykora back via re-entry waivers to try to entice another team to take him at half the cap hit.
