Favre ‘Highly Unlikely’ To Play Again

Adam Schefter (ESPN.com) via Twitter reports Minnesota Vikings’ quarterback Brett Favre told her colleague Ed Werder that it was “highly unlikely” he’d play again.

Werder has a close media relationship with Favre, but “highly unlikely” is not a certainty, especially coming from Favre’s mouth.  Favre already said during his press conference that he should make his decision soon, and said it would not take “months.”

So with this latest report, there are now two reports of Favre retirng now that the season ended and zero reports saying he will return to play.
