The Minnesota Twins will tender contracts to all remaining arbitration-eligible players, including pitcher Jesse Crain and infielder Brendan Harris.
Overall, the organization will tender contracts to all 30 unsigned players.
This news doesn’t come as a complete surprise, but some reports leading up to Saturday’s deadline suggested that Crain may be non-tendered. Crain will stay and get a raise from the $1.7 million he made last year.
Crain posted a 4.70 ERA in 56 relief appearances for Minnesota in 2009, with a career 3.50 ERA in six seasons with the Minnesota Twins.
Crain could see his salary raise to around $3 million, and Harris will likely have a salary that will reach the seven-digit range.
