La Velle E. Neal III (Star Tribune) reports the Minnesota Twins are likely not interested in free-agent third baseman Pedro Feliz, despite multiple reports saying the contrary.
Neal is currently covering the annual winter meetings in Indianapolis.
He also said the Twins have had no contact with the agent for second baseman Orlando Hudson.
We believe the Twins will just target a third baseman, whether it is third baseman Kevin Kouzmanoff or infielder/outfielder Mark DeRosa.
Update: Neal said via Twitter that the Twins are unlikely to pick a player in the upcoming Rule V draft.
