Gomes Returns From Injury

Minnesota Timberwolves’ forward Ryan Gomes returned from his ankle injury Sunday and played 16 minutes off the bench.

Gomes scored 5 points during the win over the Washington Wizards.

The Timberwolves are expected to ease Gomes back into the starting lineup, where guard/forward Damien Wilkins is currently playing.  Wilkins has done a solid job in Gomes absence, so both players could still get a lot of playing time when Gomes is fully back.
