Favre To Retire If Vikings Win The Super Bowl

Jon Saraceno (USA Today) reports Minnesota Vikings’ quarterback Brett Favre would retire if the Vikings were to win the Super Bowl this year.

When asked about winning the championship, Favre said he wouldn’t mind walking away Elway style.  “Yeah,” Favre said to USA Today.  “I’d be pretty comfortable saying, ‘Hey, there ain’t nothin’ left. ….”

But this is the same Favre who half the time does not know what he is going to do.  Super Bowl win or not, you can believe he will be in play to return to the Vikings next season.
