Mike Florio (ProFootballTalk) reports Minnesota Vikings’ cornerback Antoine Winfield could be out for a month.
Florio’s report stated that ESPN’s Adam Schefter said during the Sunday morning SportsCenter that Winfield arrived in Pittsburgh still wearing a walking boot.
The Vikings listed Winfield as inactive for the Pittsburgh Steelers’ game. Cornerback Benny Sapp is expected to start in his place at left corner.
Update: ESPN.com reports Winfield could be out for four to six weeks. Apparently Winfield’s injury is not just a sprained foot, but a fracture was found in the foot.
