Congress To Look Into Williamses’ StarCaps Case

The Associated Press reports Congress has plans to have a hearing next month about Minnesota Vikings’ defensive tackles Kevin and Pat Williams and their blocked suspensions by the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

The AP cites two people of knowledge who are speaking on a “condition of anonymity because lawmakers have yet to announce the hearing.”

Our guess:  NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell sent a nice long letter to Congress pouting about his unhappiness about a federal judge ruling allowing two players to play when he wants to suspend them.
