NFL Fines Williams, Sapp

Minnesota Vikings’ defensive tackle Pat Williams and cornerback Benny Sapp were fined $5,000 apiece for unnecessary roughness penalties in Sunday’s loss against the Pittsbugh Steelers. Williams had a 15-yard facemask penalty on Steelers’ receiver Mike Wallace. Sapp launched towards quarterback Ben Roethlisberger near the sideline while Roethlisberger was about to run out of bounds.
