Liriano Returns To The Rotation

Minnesota Twins’ pitcher Francisco Liriano will rejoin the starting rotation and start against the Kansas City Royals on Sunday.

The Twins plan on easing him back into the rotation by limiting his pitch count for Sunday’s game. Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said Friday that Liriano would be on a pitch count of 60 to 80.

Liriano has a 5-12 record with a 5.75 ERA while appearing in 26 games with 23 starts.
