Kahn In Spain For The Third Time

Charley Walters (Star Tribune) reports Minnesota Timberwolves’ president David Kahn is in Spain this weekend to meet with point guard Ricky Rubio and DKV Joventut.  Accompanying Kahn is a friend of Wolves’ owner Glen Taylor who was raised in Spain and understands the culture.

Kahn is clearly serious about getting Rubio to the NBA as soon as possible, although he has publicly said he is willing to wait a couple years.  Regal Barcelona apparently still has an offer on the table for Joventut, and appears to be a legitimate destination for Rubio.
