Harvin’s Contract Details

Receiver Percy Harvin signed a five-year deal worth $14.28 million with a bonus of $8.5 million. Bonuses in the contract can earn him even more money, for a total value of $14.5 million.

We expected the Vikings to give the receiver a lucrative contract that pays him well as long as he stays out of trouble. Two weeks ago, we predicted that he would sign a deal for five-years, $14.5 million with $7 million guaranteed as the 22nd overall pick.

I’d say our prediction was pretty close.
