Twins Recall Crain, Send Down Mulvey
La Velle E. Neal III (Star Tribune) reports the Minnesota Twins recalled pitcher Jesse Crain and sent pitcher Kevin Mulvey down to AAA Rochester. Crain went 1-0 while pitching an ERA of 2.25 in 12 games since being sent down to Rochester.
La Velle also mentions that pitcher Glen Perkins complained about shoulder problems following the game, and will have his shoulder examed with Dr. Lewis Yocum tomorrow. Perkins will join Crede, who already had plans to visit the shoulder specialist.
