Trade Talk Is Cold For Twins

Charley Walters (Pioneer Press) reports the Minnesota Twins have been talking to a lot with teams, including the Pittsburgh Pirates, about relief pitching help, but there’s nothing hot.  No trades are close, and recent rumors don’t look like they will heat up.

Do not be surprised if the Twins try to finish the season with what they have on their roster.  The Twins recently called up pitcher Kevin Mulvey, and now have 12 pitchers on their roster.
