Rubio: Prepared For Minnesota

Minnesota Timberwolves’ 5th overall pick, point guard Ricky Rubio has publicly spoken about his stance on the buyout situation.  Rubio posted on his official facebook page, “Estoy preparado para jugar en Minnesota esta temporada y estamos trabajando en la compra ahora. Gracias por todo su apoyo. | I am prepared to play in Minnesota this season and we are working on the buyout now. Thank you for all of your support.“.

None of that is exactly “new” to us, but the message is encouraging, nonetheless.  Rubio apparently told the Timberwolves following the draft that he was prepared to play for them, and recently told the Spanish press that he isn’t likely to return to DKV Joventut.

This upcoming week could be the week that the Timberwolves officially land the dynamic point guard to their roster.  Timberwolves’ President David Kahn has a very good offer on the table for DKV Joventut.
