Percy Harvin was “officially excused” and sent home when he got flu-like symptoms after reporting to the symposium in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., on Sunday along with the other 255 rookie draft picks. The rookie receiver could return to the symposium later this week if he feels better.
Harvin had also missed the beginning of mandatory rookie camp, because of “extreme dehydration”.
There should be no reason to worry. Despite missing time in rookie camp, he has performed well in the rest of minicamp and OTAs.
